About This Artist

For my first career, I was an English professor specializing in post-modern American literature. I had started acting while writing my dissertation and continued to participate in community theatre after earning my PhD. Starting in 2019, I decided to take my acting to the next level and enrolled in a one year conservatory, and I have been on stage, in front of the camera, or behind a microphone ever since. Because of my background in literature, I can read scripts from multiple perspectives and translate that understanding to the audience. My teaching background (and love for learning and reading) has prepared me for Explainer or E-Learning projects. Plus as a film and stage actor, I'm able to lock into different characters for an audiobook and create the given circumstances for any kind of advertisement. My versatility and preparation can bring you a range of voices from soothing and reassuring to energizing and inspiring, with a touch of edge.
